Frequently asked questions
What is the time commitment?
Cadets attend drills twice monthly on Saturdays (0900-1500) and participate in summer training for two weeks. Additional events and competitions are optional but encouraged.
Is there a cost to join?
Annual dues are $87 for League Cadets and $127 for Sea Cadets. This covers insurance, uniforms, and training materials. Financial assistance is available for families who qualify.
Do I need prior military experience?
No prior experience is required. We welcome cadets from all backgrounds and provide comprehensive training starting from the basics.
