Meeting details
- Meeting address
- Massachusetts Maritime Academy (Harrington Hall)
101 Academy Dr, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532, USA - Saturday drill hours
- 1000 to 1530 (3:30 PM)
Drop-off, pickup, and access
- Drop-off: Bring cadets to Harrington Hall in time for the 1000 start and remain available until the unit confirms the cadet has been received. The exact drop-off point, parking area, and check-in process are to be confirmed by the unit.
- Pickup: Plan to arrive at the end of the 1530 drill period. The designated pickup location, authorized-adult procedure, and late pickup instructions are to be confirmed by the unit.
- Building access: Families should not assume that Harrington Hall or the campus is open for unrestricted access. Campus entry, parking permissions, the correct building entrance, and any escort or check-in requirements are to be confirmed by the unit before your first drill.
If you have not received access or arrival instructions before a drill, please contact the unit before traveling.

Uniforms
Uniform details are part of the enrollment conversation. The unit will explain what is available and what each family needs to obtain.
Unit-issued items — confirm with Gosnold Division
The unit will confirm which official uniform pieces it issues, when they are issued, available sizes, and the process for replacements. The current unit-issued list and any related deposit or replacement rules are not yet confirmed here.
Family-purchased items — rough estimates only
Families should plan to purchase the personal-use items the unit identifies, such as footwear and basic uniform accessories. The exact required list and approved sources are to be confirmed by the unit.
| Item | Approximate range |
|---|---|
| Uniform shoes or boots | $45–$120 |
| Required undershirts and socks | $10–$35 |
| Belts and small uniform accessories | $15–$40 |
| Alterations or name items | $10–$40 |
These are rough, approximate planning ranges—not official fees or a quote from the unit. Please confirm current prices and required items with Gosnold Division before purchasing.

Sea Cadets Online Application
A step-by-step guide for parents
Before you begin
- Complete the application with your prospective cadet whenever possible.
- Have a separate email address available for your prospective cadet.
- Do not use your child’s school email address.
Watch for your registration email
Look for the email with your registration link and code in your inbox or spam folder. It may take up to 24 hours. Make sure you keep a copy of your registration code.
Use only one registration code
If more than one child is applying and you receive multiple codes, use just one. You can add other cadets or an adult volunteer later.
Create and save your account
Create a username and password and save them securely. You will need this login again during the application and after joining.
Start the application
Log in, confirm the local unit shown or choose another unit. When adding your child’s information, ensure you provide your prospective cadet with an email address that is different from yours.
Choose the primary contact
Select the parent or guardian who should receive emails from Sea Cadets and who will maintain the cadet’s records as the primary contact.
Review the Code of Conduct together
Review the Cadet Code of Conduct with your child before acknowledging it. Enter the passcode you created when asked to VALIDATE.
Provide health information
Provide accurate health information. If accommodations may be needed, you will receive instructions after the interview on how to request them and on the accommodation approval process.
Visit and interview with the local unit
After you submit the initial application, the unit will contact you to schedule a family visit and an interview. The application cannot be approved until you meet with the unit.
Final approval and payment
After your interview and any accommodation requests are approved, you will receive an electronic invoice for national enrollment and insurance. The fee is $125 per cadet and $50 per volunteer. Your local unit will charge a separate fee that varies by location.
